"The wood-turning workshop at the Lahngut fruit farm in Lana smells of wood. For many years, Karl Heinz Windegger has been skilfully making wonderful vases, bowls and plates from apple, walnut, cherry or ash wood. Jewellery also turns out incredibly well and is one thing above all: unique. You can see the enthusiasm for different shapes and the love of detail in the products. The farmer is fascinated by the unevenness and dissimilarity, by the wood itself, which determines the shape, and ultimately by the end products.
