Wine farming has a long tradition at Griesserhof farm. "The 'Golser Hügel' was considered an excellent spot for growing vines back in the 14th century" stresses Paul, the farmer. These days, grapes for creating Griesserhof's fresh and fruity wines thrive on this exceptionally fertile moraine hill. The wines may be delivered on request.
In the shop you can buy: White wine (Gewürztraminer DOC, Grüner Veltliner DOC, Kerner DOC, Sauvignon DOC, Sylvaner DOC) each 0,75 l.
Wine - In vino veritas
This is especially true of a glass of wine bearing the 'Red Rooster' trademark. Own-produced grapes of the highest quality as well as careful processing on the farm guarantee a uniquely enjoyable effect on the palate. South Tyrol's sunshine and clear mountain air lend the grapes their special aroma. It's good that the origin of the grapes - straight from the farm - plays such a crucial role at 'Red Rooster'. The farmers take the processing of grapes seriously, as well as taking care to get rid of any grasses and weeds around the vines using mechanical means. A board of experts then tests the sensory quality of the wine.
